Week2: 27/04 Aircon piping installation (1st trip of 2) + Tiling work 99% completed

Tiling work is 99% completed! The 1% will be done after acid wash when the tiler will fill the grouting gap between tiles. Thumbs up for the tiler:
  • Colin could only sourced 2pcs of mosaic tiles for our kitchen entrance floor. Shortage of 1pc despite going to several shops. Haiz, he managed to source all other small samples. Bits and pieces, tiler put all small mosaics together and at the same time need to measure the gradient of the floor. It's a challenge to put 1inch x 1inch mosaics altogether! Not crooked somemore!
  • H*B tiler did not get the floor gradient right, the water cant flow into the drain properly. Got a small 'pond' within. I thought we will have to undergo another round of nightmare of hacking & redo the tiles. But no, our tiler actually help to see the condition and gave a very wise and easy solution. Only need to redo less than 5pcs of tiles and 98% of the water can flow down. Thats very wise of him.
  • His workmanship is very good. Our cement floor done by H*B was not level, and yet he managed to get the floor gradient right.

Plastering worker came to plaster the new erected wall @ BR2 and the hacked wall.

plastering still have not dried
Plastering dried (view from corridor)
Platering dried (view from BR2)

Allb*st piping installation worker came at 10am today. Materials were correct and able to give helpful suggestions to our not-so-easy floor layout and design. The same aircon worker will come again for 2nd or final trip when our renovation is finishing, to come to install the aircon fancoils + compressor.
