Curtains

Following are some pictures of our curtains.

Living room (Balcony): We love the 2-tones spiral shimmer effect. And the translucent Day curtain soften the whole ambience and we thought it add a little mystery to what's at the balcony. :-)

Dining area: String curtain (Tied up)

Dining area: String curtain. Far look, it's silver color. Closer look, it's white with black strings. The strings act as a seperator of the living and dining area. If want to dine and watch TV, we'll tie up the strings.

Bedroom 2 : We were thinking to have more colors in our bedrooms. Therefore tried a very daring and 'Hot' color, RED. It has the 2-tones swirl effect.

DIYed roller blind at MBR's aircon-ledge window
Wah, i tell u, this is the most challenging task we have ever DIYed for our house. Initially was exciting to do this task.... but only realise that it's too near the aircon trunking, making drilling and accessing very difficult. We have gone thru the trouble to get a ladder (anyway we need 1 in the house) and borrowed power drill. After hubby installed the roller blind, he was totally wet and strain. But we are glad that the result is nice. It's white and blended with our white wall. The blind camouflage the ugly window and shield away the morning sun.
Study room : Material is actually with slight shimmer vertial stripes, but somehow it don't show in the photos. This grey color is lighter than the living room's.

Decorations:
Vase with branches and roundish 'flowers' on dining table. Oil portrait on the wall facing dining, sides to kitchen and corridor to rooms.
Closer view of the oil portrait
2nd longish oil portrait. Haven't decide where to hang this painting.
