Went back house to receive basin+tap and lightings deliveries. Both deliveries were late. The halogen downlights were of wrong shape. We decided to pop by Ch*ls*a for an exchange later. The delivery man is polite and went through all the boxes of lights with us, making sure that the lights are in good condition. For PLC downlights, we were given Phil*ps bulbs. Make in China. We stayed 2.5hrs in the house, taking pictures and checking on the paint job. The rest of the hours were sitting at the Balcony chatting. It was windy afternoon. No harsh sun, just breeze... indeed a comfortable cooling place to laze, though we only had 2 lousy chairs (ID's). :-)
The glasses from the lights look so fragile, hope the electrician will handle it with extra care. We sorted and identified the bulk of lightings for the easy reference for electrician.
This should be the correct Halogen light:
Have been going around since last week for a suitable Home Theatre System for our living hall. Though we have that FOC Hit*chi HTS, its a simple decent 100W power which is not enough for our hall. We have hard time to weigh the budget with the performance! Tested wireless system of Sony 5.1 and Philips 6.1; tested Bose 3-2-1, Bose Lifestyle 18, Yamaha 5.1 and Jamo A10. Bose Lifestyle 18 is superb! Bose 3-2-1 is whoa-shiok. Philips HTS9800 design is sleek & modern but sound is Ok only. Bose is really good but at this point, we decided not to splurge it on HTS. We wish to buy JAMO A102 HTS10, a 850W power 5.1 system with satalite speakers. (color: piano black)
