Week6 Carpentry update(Day5), aircon fancoils, glass door.

It was crowded with workers on Friday 18th May!! :-) ID with 4 carpenters were there, 2 aircon installers were there for 1hr, 2 glass door installers were there for 30min, electrician were there for 2hrs, solid top worker came to take measurements.... Human jam!

Toshiba System4-Inverter aircon fan coils and compressor are up!






Kitchen casement glass door is up!

Tempered glass swing door @ kitchen entrance. There are 2 frosted strips below the handle, for safety reason.

Carpentry updates:


HHS Feature wall (Before), men at work.


HHS Feature wall (After), , stainless steel inserts, glass backing and tic-tac door are not up yet.


Errm, this is the tic-tac door lor.. yet to be fixed.

Can u guess which cabinets are for my shoes? Sette to be installed at the exposed raw wood area.


TV feature+console+ledge. We have decided to install the 2 front speakers on the sides of the feature wall. Audio cable were concealed inside the drilled groove.


MBR Wardrobe (Before), frosted glass not up yet.

We are (still) very happy with the overall workmanship, attitude and progress of the carpentry works. Though its not perfect but it is definitely satisfactory. Colin managed to accomodation to our last minute add in requests of 1) adding 3 additional downlight points, 2) adding 8 speaker points with 2 of them have to be concealed in the wall. Thanks Colin! Also, we have miscalculate the size of TV console @ living hall. With the existing measurements, it can fit in the Jamo's player well enough, but will have difficulty accessing the disc drive and USB drive! After Mr Limau brainstormed with Carpnter leader and Colin, they have came out with a solution, which will pose as a trouble + challenge for Carpenters!! Oh oh... Will they resolve the problem for us?? We'll see. :-p
